Idle wears the Underground 90% of the year. Four times annually we ship a one-to-two-week theme drop: new aesthetic, new NFC sticker, new music partner, dedicated Sunday Issue, exclusive listings. Each drop is an event. Founders see every drop forty-eight hours before everyone else.
Subaru WRC gold on cobalt blue. Mud-streaked livery. The cars that earn their dirt.
Sodium-vapor over concrete. Bricolage typography. The build is the brand.
Liberty Walk widebody, neon underglow, Shibuya parking garages. The syndicate gets loud.
Racing green, leather tan, cream paper. The year-end catalogue the modded scene never got.
Drops are the cadence. Founder badges are the permanent mark. NFC stickers ship with every drop, free to Founders. Music partners and producer cuts are licensed for Founding Groups to use at meets, events, and content.
Permanent. Never re-issued. Goes next to your name everywhere you comment, list, and engage. Forever. The next 500 people get something nobody else can ever earn.
Founder slots also include the first NFC build-link sticker drop and early access to every feature before it goes public.
By claiming, you agree to the Idle Founder terms. Founder status is permanent and non-transferable.
I've run the largest modded VW/Audi community in the GTA for twelve years. 21,600 members, daily posts, buy-and-sell threads, build diaries, the whole thing. Facebook owned the audience, the algorithm owned the reach, and every time Meta changed something, we lost another tool that mattered.
The for-sale posts were the first casualty. A member lists a clean B7 RS4 on a Tuesday morning. By Thursday it's buried under fourteen memes, a parts request, and someone else's "PM for price" thread. The buyer never finds it. The seller gets lowball DMs from people who didn't read the ad. The community loses trust.
Then the scams started. Fake profiles impersonating real sellers. Buyers sending deposits to strangers with no recourse. Shops with good reputations getting dragged in comment threads by competitors using burner accounts. Facebook gave us none of the tools to stop it.
Idle Autos is what happens when you take twelve years of community trust and build the platform those members actually deserve. Searchable listings that don't disappear. Vetted vendors who stand behind their work. Groups where members run their own posts and threads. Events with the DJs and photographers who already shoot the scene. Build histories that transfer with the car. And a clean-content policy that keeps it out of the street-takeover news cycle. Marketplace, vendors, events, groups, photographers, DJs. All in one place. This is the page before the platform. Claim your slot.
Every other platform either condones takeover content (Instagram car pages, YouTube car channels, TikTok) or doesn't have an enthusiast audience to apply policy to (mainstream marketplaces). Idle's clean-content policy is a positioning lever that speaks to five different stakeholders at once.
Compliance is the floor. Differentiation is the lever. Both are true. We chose the lever.
The first 50 groups to onboard their existing audience to Idle lock the permanent "Founding Group" badge. Your members get a home base that isn't Facebook. You get the perk stack: early access to every new feature, every Seasonal Drop forty-eight hours before everyone else, exclusive giveaways for your members, physical merch drops (stickers, NFC build-link cards, group regalia), first pick on group-level vendor placements, and a locked revenue share when paid tiers turn on.
Any marque, anywhere in North America. GTA VWAudi is the seeding group. Your scene is welcome.
Group claim requests are reviewed manually. Fill out the form below and Alex will reach out within 48 hours.
Vendor onboarding is free during the launch ramp. No fee, no contract, no auto-billing. You get profile, lead routing, vendor messaging, Sunday Issue eligibility, and the value-accumulator dashboard from day one. Every month you receive a $0 invoice that logs what you would have paid at the going rate, so you can see what you are getting before money changes hands.
Founding Partner status is capped at five. Permanent badge, locked rate of $1,200/mo when paid tiers turn on (target month 6). Affirmative payment consent required before any card is charged. If you do not want to convert, the Community Vendor tier preserves your profile and reviews indefinitely.
Mike at Ontario Wheel Repair signed as Founding Partner #1 on 2026-05-21. Four slots remain.
